Hey hey Hey!!!

Well the semester is just about over! 3 weeks and counting! Good News: I can see the finish line and boy does it feel good. Bad News: Finals Finals Finals!!!! lets hope I come out alive! :) Well enough of that nonsense. Here is a little homework assignment i just completed today for this week! I like the way it came out. I will admit, looking back at the beginning of this semester, my work has gotten a whole lot better. I guess the money is paying off! :) (it Better!) Enjoy my friends and have a Happy Easter!!

What a thief!!!

So it seems like I've been using a thief for every class this semester. 2D, 3D and even Z-brush!! Don't know why but it seems like that's the theme for this semester!! Here are some of the stuff I've come up with so far. Just the other day I posted my stills for my Z-brush class. Here is the super awesome turnaround video accompanied by Kings of Leon and my 2D crime heist, or lack of!

Sleep Sleep I wanna Sleep!!

So that's the new song I've been singing as of late! Just when you finish one thing something is right there waiting. Ah life, got to love it! Any hoot, mid terms are done and where already prepping for the finals! The good news is I've got a couple of goodies for your eyeballs to see. Here is my Z-brush character that I started for mid terms. I posted the low poly version a couple of posts ago. Now here it is all done up and posed! Enjoy. Just a typical day in the lfe of an Animator !!

MID-TERMS!!!!!!!

Mid term time is here so that means a lot of stuff to do in a minimal amount of time! geez! I feel like as an art student, assignments are that much tougher than most other majors. We need to create life! I know sounds kinda crazy but it's so true. We need to be able to express emotions and feelings in our work and if we do not succeed than it's looks like crap and therefore makes the work we do unbelievable to our audience. There is nothing worse than handing in something that fails to convey that realism of life. I handed in an assignment this past week that was mediocore and everyone including my teacher could see it lacked realism and believability. No worse feeling than knowing you failed to do that! let this be a reminder that if half ass a project, there's no way to get by. people will notice. That being said, here is a model im working on for my Z-brush mid-term. The extreme details will all be done in Z-brush! have a gander and stay tuned!!

Z-Brush!!!

Hey friends!! It's me again. So I've been taking Z-brush now for about three weeks , and boy is it really cool. For those of you who don't know exactly what it is, here is the quick description. It's basically a program that allows you to model your existing poly models that you create in another 3d program. It's sculpting, but on a computer! It allows the artist to add in any detail imaginable to your models. Everywhere from the pores in a characters face to the cracks in a pavement. I've been playing around with it and learning alot of cool things. Here are a few goodies i've created so far. Enjoy!!

This was last semesters finals for 3d modeling. enjoy as well as the videos down bottom. The first is a model of my kitchen at home. When I first started this project in 3dsMax I had no idea what I was doing. Not bad I think! not bad! The second one is my self portrait. Spent a lot of time during the semester trying to get this thing to look like me. Personally it still needs work. Maybe on some down time, I'll try to open it back up and work some more. Enjoy!

Hello Friends!

So the semester is moving along and the work continues to pile on! The balancing act takes some getting used to, but as long i manage my time right, it usually ends OK. That being said, Here are a few of my animation assignments i have done in the past couple weeks. Some are good some are bad but that's the way it usually works out. Over the course of this semester my progress and skills should see vast improvement (that's what we hope!!!) anyways, it''s been real now it's time to go write a paper! chow!

School, School, School !!!

Well i'm back to school! Boy do i already miss the vacation! This semester should not only be difficult, but it will also be very interesting. 3d animation and 2d animation should bring some cool short animations along the way this semester. Keep your eyes peeled. Oh yeah, thank you to all who stop by and see how i'm doing. It's much appreciated !! This is a very intersting part of my life right now and i appreciate you watching me grow as an artist.
